Homemade Pizza Dough
Pizza night doesn't have to mean delivery.
We love homemade pizza night at our house. My favorite pizza dough recipe makes enough for two large pizzas. The best part...I toss everything in my bread machine and let it do the work. The dough is perfect every time.
Ingredients
4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
1/3 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Warm water to lukewarm.
Pour water in breadmachine pan.
Add olive oil, salt, and flour.
Sprinkle yeast on top.
Set bread machine to dough cycle.
When dough cycle is finished. Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with saran wrap and place in the fridge.
Ideas
This dough is best if made the day before and refrigerated over night. This allows it to have its second rise overnight.
Since this recipe makes dough for two pieces, I like to make one pizza for dinner and one for dessert.
